Dec 11: Bukas Palad album launch and free concert

This year, as Bukas Palad prepares to celebrate its silver anniversary in 2011, it continues with its mission of offering music to accompany prayer and reflection by releasing its 14th studio album, “To Love and Serve, Bukas Palad Chants.”

In this present venture, Bukas Palad, for the first time, explores and focuses on praying through chants. An exclusive collection of ten new original chants of different themes and genres, this album invites listeners to engage in prayer and worship through sung verses, which are continually repeated and with words and melodies that can be easily learnt and followed.

The albumwill be launched on December 11, 2009, Friday, half past seven in the evening at the Church of the Gesu, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City. The launch concert will also feature well loved Christmas carols and tunes.

Admission is absolutely free.

The album shall be available in all major music bars and Tanging Yaman outlets of the Jesuit Communications Foundation after the launch and shall retail for an affordable amount of P200.   It's a great gift to place under the Christmas tree of your loved ones and friends.
