Aug 26: Eat-all-you-can tempura

One of my fondest memories of lunches with the extended family are the meals at Kamayan, Saisaki and Dad's. We used to run the waiters ragged with our orders for more – more lechon… more tempura… more steak… more rice! To get a sense of the chaos, try to imagine a group of hungry locusts swooping over an unsuspecting grassland. Take note - this was the time when all orders were taken ala carte. Sometimes I think that buffets were created with us in mind. =)

On a more serious note, the Triple V chain of restaurants, pioneer of the eat-all-you-can buffet in the Philippines, is 35 years old and going strong. To celebrate and reward its faithful customers, Kamayan, Saisaki, and DADS will offer an "Eat All You Can Tempura" promo on its anniversary, Aug. 26. Diners can partake of as much ebi (prawn) tempura as they want for P330, rounded out with a serving of soup, rice and iced tea. The promo will be available for lunch and dinner on that day at the restaurants’ branches at SM Megamall, Glorietta 3, EDSA, Padre Faura, and West Avenue.

I know where I want to be on Aug 26. How about you?
