Apple is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a one day Apple shopping event, dubbed “Red Friday” on Friday, Jan. 6 in China/Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The company is not disclosing details on what the sale offers, however, it may be similar to Apple’s Black Friday sales in the US with minor discounts on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, as well as models of Macbooks and other smaller products.
